Educational presentations include trauma-informed and compassionate classrooms, strengthening and supporting social emotional learning curriculum, building multi-tiered programming to support positive mental health initiatives, developing and sustaining school-led communities of practice that support student and faculty needs throughout K-12 grade levels.

Interested in developing and sustaining new program initiatives? I’ve got you covered. I can work with your administrators and faculty to build customized programs based on research-driven and evidence-based practices that support students and faculty. Examples include RtI/MTSS/ESSA initiatives that support social emotional learning curriculum, mental health literacy, and positive behavioral supports using a positive mental health lens. Such supports are especially necessary in post-pandemic recovery. Proactive approaches to addressing mental health and well-being of students are proven to reduce referrals to costly resources and increase quality educational outcomes.
Related Service Support
Searching for ways to utilize related service providers more effectively or efficiently in your school's social emotional initiatives? I have been involved in the development of ESSA-related SISP initiatives at the local, state, and national levels. My experiences allow me to assess the scope, quality, and fidelity of programs used to develop and support initiatives using a public health framework. Examples include identifying opportunities for related services providers to contribute to school RtI/MTSS/ESSA initiatives utilizing alternative budget capacities, and applying best practices through network supports and trainings.
